Privacy notice

This notice explains what R Kenward Plastering Contractors (“we”), based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, does with the personal information you give us through this website. Last updated 2 September 2026.

What we collect and why

When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number, the town the job is in (optional), the service you are asking about and your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to arrange and carry out any work you go on to book. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If you call, WhatsApp or FaceTime us, your number and any photos you send are handled the same way and are not used for anything else.

Who processes it

  • The website is hosted by Vercel. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Resend (an email delivery service). Neither is given your data for any other purpose.
  • Our email is currently provided by Google (Gmail).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on the form to block automated spam; it does not identify you.
  • We keep a consent-free tally of page views (no cookie, no identifier). Everything else on the cookies page only runs if you accept.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and records anonymised usage data (pages viewed, links clicked). It never receives the contents of the contact form, your name, email or phone number.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a customer, for the period we are required to keep business records (normally six years). Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email russtheplasterer@gmail.com or call 07850 161812. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
